I have completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher training coursework and am completing final steps toward certification.  I actively use the skills learned in the physical and emotional learning of yoga in therapy sessions.  There is so much research to support the use of Yoga as an added therapeutic intervention for reduction of anxiety and treatment for stress and trauma.  The skills in general create a healthy lifestyle working to change one's mindset to see things in a more postiive light by building self-esteem, being more mindful of your present moment and allowing greater control over mood and physical health.
