Individual, couples and family therapy.  Whether you are planning to be married, preparting to have a baby, or moving toward retirement, adjustments to these and other stressors can seem overwhelming.  I work with males and females ages 14 and up to address anything from transitional changes to larger more stressful or chronic challenges.  I invite the individual, couple or family system to create their treatment goals and often assign homework and activities between sessions to continue the learning.  Cognitive behavioral therapy is a foundational therapy and teaches clients how their thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected.  I also assist clients on learning more effetive communication styles, whether in session, or prepping to have a difficult conversations with a partner, boss or friend.
